OptiPix Object Remover lets you paint over unwanted objects, people, text, watermarks, or blemishes - and a fast browser-side inpainting algorithm fills the painted area with realistic surrounding pixel content. Brush size and hardness are adjustable. Use the rectangle selection tool for large objects or the eraser to fix mistakes. Undo / redo per stroke. Two inpainting methods are available: Telea fast marching (great for small objects on simple backgrounds) and Navier-Stokes diffusion (slower but better for textured areas like grass and bricks). Zoom and pan for precision. Download as JPEG, PNG, or WebP. HEIC input and clipboard paste are supported. Everything runs in your browser - your photos never leave your device. The free alternative to Photoshop's Content-Aware Fill and Spot Healing Brush.
How It Works
Your brush strokes build a binary mask. The Telea fast-marching method propagates pixel values inward from the mask boundary using a weighted average of known neighbors guided by image gradients. Navier-Stokes diffusion is available as a slower, gradient-respecting alternative.
